A car with no inspection and the law
A few things worth knowing before you sell a car without a valid technical inspection.
Do not drive it to the buyer
A car without a valid technical inspection must not be used on public roads. That is why we meet where the car stands: at your home, in a car park or in a garage.
Registration certificate retained electronically
If the police retained the certificate electronically, for example because the inspection was missing, we still buy the car. Tick it in the form: the deduction is 25% of the base price. The physical certificate must be there.
Selling without an inspection is allowed
The law does not require a valid technical inspection to sell a car. What you need are the documents: the registration certificate and contracts showing you are entitled to sell it.

How much less will I get for a car with no inspection?
A missing valid inspection lowers the base price by 10%. We assess the rest of the car's condition from photos and on site.
Do you buy a car that failed the inspection?
Yes, if it is drivable and the engine and gearbox work. We take the faults that caused the failure into account in the price after the inspection.
When do I get the money?
On site, after the inspection and once the price is confirmed. We pay in cash or by bank transfer.
